Pass Christian Police Department News Release
The Pass Christian Police Department along with other local agencies will participate in the national “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” traffic enforcement campaign starting August 13, 2014-September 1, 2014.
Pass Christian Police will be out checking for impaired drivers and spreading the message that impaired driving will not be tolerated. Sobriety checkpoints will be set up throughout the city, an electronic signboard will be used to spread the word that you should “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”
Everyone thinks that the enforcement campaign’s are just about making arrests, but they are not, there about “Saving Lives.” According to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), drunk driving kills more than 10,000 people per year.
Our goal is to help reduce the number of drunk drivers on the roads and to save lives.
The Pass Christian VFW, along with the Fire and Police Department is holding a Vietnam Veterans Homecoming at the Pass Christian War Memorial Park on Septh 27th 2014. There will be a meal and social gathering for Veterans aftewards at the Pass Christian VFW on North st.
The Public is invited. Vietnam Vets that wish to be recognized at the ceremony must pre register prior to sept, 16, 2014.

We are pleased to annouce the new Harbor Masters Office is Operational. The New Office is located at the end of South Market St. near the Yacht Club. Payments and slip rentals are handled at the new office only, the old temporary office will be removed shortly.

Pedal in the Pass is every 3rd Thursday during Daylight Savings Time. Meet at War Memorial Park for an easy ride through Pass Christian followed by dinner at one of our local restaurants. The ride is free - dinner is on you.
Helmets are recommended.
