Jazz in the Pass

Jazz in the Pass is moving to the streets of Downtown Pass Christian this May 23-24 with the free outdoor performances taking place at the town pavilion on the corner of Davis and Second Streets.   Festival activities start with the Blessing of the Fleet at the East Harbor, followed by a Street Fair and Gumbo Cook-off with Gumbo Tasting on Davis Avenue.  Two full days of entertainment are scheduled, including local favorites Dr. Rock, Starz and the Coast Big Band.  A special performance by the 41st Army Brass Quintet Band and jazz headliner Jose Francois are also scheduled. The City of Pass Christian, Mississippi, will receive proposals for:


at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Pass Christian, Mississippi, during normal office hours at any time prior to the designated proposal date, but not later than 4:00 p.m. on June 30, 2015.   Proposals will be opened at City Hall at 4:30 P.M., June 30, 2015.

The City of Pass Christian invites well-qualified developers, end-users, and interested parties to submit a plan to lease and develop the property for commercial use, including but not limited to a restaurant (or restaurants, as the available space is divisible) and/or other related retail use or alternative use acceptable to the City and Mississippi Secretary of State.  Proposals for commercial development shall be limited to light retail, fine dining or casual dining restaurant; low impact businesses related to tourism and recreation; and low impact businesses providing support activities for the commercial fishing activities; all of which would be appropriate and complementary for a working municipal harbor and waterfront development integrated into the city.  SEE FULL ADVERTISEMENT

Randolph Center

The Randolph Center is a Multi Use Facility, housing the Senior Citizens Center as well as
offering a wing of the building, available to rent for private parties and meetings
Currently it is also being used for The Pass Christian theater Project.
